Empowering Future Generations
Our story began in 2019. On June 14th, 2019, our father, husband, supporter, and best friend, W.C. Hudson Jr., passed away after a long fought battle with cancer (Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma). Shortly after, the “Do It 4 W” Foundation was born.
W.C. lived a full life, exhibiting core traits of Leadership, Athletics, Academics, and Faith. He was a huge contributor to the community throughout his lifetime, whether it was through coaching, church events, or just helping a neighbor on a Saturday afternoon in the yard.
We thought there was no better way to continue his legacy than to start a foundation that assists youth, who exhibit these core values, in pursuing their future aspirations.
*As you can probably guess by now, the “W” in DI4W stands for William, or as many liked to call him, W.C.*
"Creating an infinite network for future generations to pursue their passions, by providing economic opportunity via scholarships, to those who exemplify the highest level of character through Faith, Athletics, Academics, and Leadership."
As we continue to expand, our long-term objectives include providing financial assistance to deserving individuals, hosting fundraisers (such as 5K races, sports tournaments, and raffles), and facilitating a professional network for our scholarship winners.
We are confident in our ability to achieve these goals, thanks to the unwavering support of our community. Without their generosity and encouragement, we would not be where we are today. We are committed to making a lasting impact on the lives of young adults, one individual at a time. With continued support, we believe that we can truly change the world.
