About the Event
Join us for the DI4W Legacy Run - 5K on Saturday, June 15th, starting promptly at 8:00 AM. The race will begin & end at Lake Benson Park, with the path traveling through both Lake Benson and White Deer park.
- 7:00 AM to 7:55 AM - Warm-up and gathering
- 7:55 AM to 7:59 AM - Words from the DI4W team
- 8:00 AM sharp - Race begins
- ~9:15 AM to 10:15 AM - participants can cool down, gather for awards, and socialize
With your ticket purchase, you'll receive an event-branded t-shirt, a DI4W car freshener, and other swag items. Plus, enjoy snacks and refreshments after the race. Stay tuned for details on a one-night bag pick-up the week of the event. **Please Note: If you sign up after May 17th, we cannot guarantee that you will receive the correct t-shirt size**
Choose from three ticket options:
- Competitive (timed)
- Non-competitive (untimed)
- Kids (12 & under) - Kids who wish to race competitively for placement and prizes must purchase a competitive ticket.
Competitive racers will be grouped by age and gender. Medals will be awarded to top recipients, and prizes (to be announced) will be given to the top overall finishers. Additionally, we're offering remembrance signs again this year, which will be placed around the race path. Buyers can take their signs home after the race if they wish.
While we adore our furry friends, we kindly request that you leave them at home for the DI4W Legacy Run - 5K event. We want all participants, especially those racing competitively, to have a smooth and focused experience. Your cooperation ensures that everyone can fully enjoy the race day festivities. EARLY BIRD - Take part in our 5K race at your own pace. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking to enjoy a leisurely stroll, this non-competitive option is perfect for everyone. Join us for a morning of community, fitness, and fun! Ticket includes a 5K t-shirt and post race snacks & drinks.

Early Bird - Competitive
EARLY BIRD - Lace up your running shoes and get ready to race against the clock! Our competitive 5K option is ideal for those seeking a challenge and aiming for a personal best time. Compete with fellow runners and push yourself to new limits in this thrilling event. Ticket includes a 5K t-shirt and post race snacks & drinks. Competitive racers will be eligible to receive medals if they place in top of their grouping.

Remembrance Sign
Purchase a sign in memory of a lost loved one, as this day is a day of celebration and remembrance. The sign will be placed along the 5K trail and can be taken with you after the race. **DOES NOT INCLUDE ENTRY INTO THE RACE, RACE TICKETS MUST BE PURCHASED SEPARATELY IF YOU WISH TO PARTICIPATE** Please provide the name of the individual and any other information you would like to be displayed on the sign (name, dates, short phrases, etc.).
